An accident was reported 8:58 p.m. June 26 in the 3300 block of McComb Street.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Colton Douglas Hatfield, 21, of Leon, driving a 1993 Chrysler west on McComb Street, swerved to miss a deer in the road. Hatfield lost control of the vehicle and entered the north ditch. Hatfield and a passenger were not wearing seat belts and were transported to Clarke County Hospital for minor injuries.
Damage estimate is $1,000.
