Douglas O’Neall Creston

Douglas Eugene O’Neall, 50, of Creston died Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola, with the Rev. Marty Burgus and the Rev. Brian McCracken officiating. Visitation with family present will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Murray Cemetery in Murray. Memorial contributions may be directed to SIRF or Innovative Industries in Creston.

Douglas Eugene O’Neall, son of Larry Donald O’Neall and Martha Marie (McCleary) O’Neall, was born March 1, 1966, in Osceola. Doug attended several schools in the area and received his high school diploma from East Union High School and Murray High School.

Doug has lived in Creston for nearly 29 years with the support of SIRF and worked at Innovative Industries. He participated in Special Olympics since age 9 and has achieved many awards through the years.

Doug is survived by his parents, Larry and Martha O’Neall of Osceola; sisters, Dianna (Doug) Robins of Murray and Kathy (Pat) Flaherty of Murray; nephews, Kyle (Lauren) Robins, Lucas Robins and Patrick (Kristin) Flaherty; nieces, Rachel (Joe) Wood, Amy (Jason) Ruwe and Kaira (Randy) Day; great-nieces and -nephews, Parker, Jenna, Isaac, Lura, Scarlett, Kasen and Ryan; extended Creston family at SIRF and Innovative Industries and many other relatives and many friends.

Doug was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth O’Neall and grandparents, Donald “Shorty” and Dorothy O’Neall and Dick and Neta McCleary.
