Etiwanda Poush Woodburn

L. Etiwanda Poush, 87, of Woodburn died Monday, June 20, 2016, at Legacy Lodge Hospice House in Chariton.

Celebration of life visitation was from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 25, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola with lunch following at the community center in Woodburn. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Legacy Lodge Hospice in Chariton. Online condolences may be left at www.kalefuneralhome.com.

L. Etiwanda Poush, daughter of Alfred Earl Marshall and Flora Belle (Clark) Marshall, was born July 8, 1928, in Weldon. Etiwanda received her education in Osceola High School and later took certified nursing assistant and emergency medical technician classes.

She married Leonard Carmi Poush.

Etiwanda worked as a ward clerk for Dr. Viner at the Leon Clinic for several years, and also at Clarke County Hospital for 10 years.

She was a member of Ruth Group at church in Winterset, American Legion Auxiliary in Winterset and Woodburn Christian Church.

Etiwanda is survived by her daughters, Pam (Don) Muselman and Karen (Gary) Parson, all of Woodburn; son Kris Poush of Ottumwa; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins as well as other relatives and many friends.

Etiwanda was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Poush, husband Leonard Carmi Poush and brother Harold Marshall.
