Karalee Cook Osceola

Karalee Kay Cook, 75, of Osceola died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at her home in Osceola.

Services were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at LifePoint Assembly of God Church in Osceola with the Rev. Chuck DeVos officiating. Visitation with family present was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola. Karalee Kay Cook, daughter of Elias John Mongar and Eva Jane (Leeps) Mongar, was born Feb. 22, 1941, in Osceola. Karalee grew up in Osceola and graduated from Osceola High School in 1959.

On Aug. 11, 1959, Karalee married Norman LeRoy Cook in Leon. She was a homemaker.

Karalee was a member of LifePoint Assembly of God Church in Osceola.

Karalee is survived by her husband of 56 years, Norman LeRoy Cook of Osceola; daughter Cheryl K. Cook of Burleson, Texas; sons, Roger L. Cook of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Gary L. (Anne) Cook of Norwalk; grandchildren, Mariah Cook, Zachary Cook and Nicholas Cook; sisters-in-law, Letitia Mongar and Doris Mongar, both of Osceola; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Karalee was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister Roberta Ann Mongar and brothers, Robert Mongar and Billy Mongar.
