Nicholas Michael Werner of Murray reported his billfold, Iowa ID, card for tax returns and $175 cash were taken when someone broke into his mother’s vehicle between 8 p.m. May 8 and 8 a.m. May 9.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Werner gave a description of an Acura vehicle. This matches a description of a vehicle suspected in other thefts from vehicles that have occurred in Murray recently.

Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident. Loss estimate is $180.

Thomas Lee Beougher of Murray reported a work coat with a checkbook and work ID were taken when someone broke into his vehicle between 8 p.m. May 8 and 8 a.m. May 9.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Beougher said he saw a dark colored vehicle with plastic on the driver’s side.

Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident. Loss estimate is $15.

Gloria Dianne Hughes of Osceola reported two rose bushes were damaged at her residence on Starline Road 4:25 p.m. May 3.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, the two rose bushes were mowed off by Robert Edward Leach of Osceola. After talking to both parties, Leach was cited into court for criminal mischief and trespass.

Loss estimate is $50.

Amy Dawn Jessip, 38, of Murray was charged with domestic abuse assault, third and subsequent offense, and interference with official acts 12:28 a.m. May 11.

Jessip was being held in Clarke County Jail waiting to be bonded out.

Herbert Ralph Williams, 63, of Osceola was charged with violation of a no contact order 2:20 p.m. May 13.

Williams pleaded guilty to violation of a no contact order, served 48 hours in Clarke County Jail and was released May 15.

Garrett F. Hunt of Grandville reported a 1970 16-feet green hard-sided pop-up camper and sleeper gear was taken from a field where it had been parked between midnight April 7 and 10:30 a.m. May 12.

Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident. Loss estimate is $2,000.
