Michael Henning of West Des Moines reported a 2000 John Deere 4700 diesel tractor with serial number 1SNCH40220132838 and John Deere loader with serial number ITOH180XEED001889 were taken from his machine shed in rural Clarke County between Nov. 11 and 12.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, entry was made through the door on the north side of the building. The tractor was loaded onto a trailer in the roadway. The trailer and vehicle went west on Doyle Street after the tractor was loaded.
Loss estimate is $18,000. This incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.
