Faye McKnight Osceola

Donna Faye McKnight, 79, of Osceola died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola with Jessica Gaul officiating. Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to her family for a fitting tribute to be decided later.

Donna Faye McKnight, daughter of Neal Franklin White and Mary Ethel (Shepherd) White, was born March 18, 1936, in Afton.

Faye grew up in Afton and graduated from Afton High School.

On March 26, 1954, Faye married Raymond Joe McKnight in Hiawatha, Kansas.

Faye was a farm wife, worked at Western Auto and was co-owner of Interstate 35 DX in New Virginia. She and Raymond ran the Liberty Store. After selling the store, she took a job in telemarketing for a number of years.

Faye is survived by her son Brad (Brenda) McKnight of Liberty; granddaughter Amanda (Corey) Clark of Liberty; great-granddaughter Makenzie McCuddin of Liberty; sister Marjorie Kennedy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Eloise White of Creston, Helen McKnight of Osceola, Phyllis Stump of Osceola, Betty Downard of Osceola and Helen Day of Bondourant; brother-in-law Otis Brown of Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; parents, Neal and Mary; brothers, Willard, Louis and Kenneth White; and sisters, Leota Thompson, Lola Brown and Shirley Shields.
