Fry chosen for NAEDA scholarship award

FENTON, Mo. – Dalton Fry of Osceola has been selected as a recipient of the NAEDA Equipment Dealers Foundation (EDF) Scholarship for the 2015-16 academic year.

Fry’s total scholarship of $2,000 includes matching funds from his sponsoring equipment dealership Vetter Equipment Co., headquartered in Indianola.

Fry will be attending Vatterott College, studying Diesel Mechanics in the upcoming school year.

“Dalton has been shadowing the service technicians in our service department and helping with various project for our sales department. He is getting some good hands on experience working at our dealership,” said Jon Perry, store director/manager of Vetter Equipment Co.

NAEDA Equipment Dealers Foundation scholarship funds are awarded to assist in the training, re-training, or advancement of employees or potential employees of equipment dealers in order to create a larger pool of qualified, committed, long-term employees for those dealerships.

About the EDF

The NAEDA Equipment Dealers Foundation (EDF) was established in 1988 as a separate entity from the association to provide funding to meet the industry’s need for training resources and to provide temporary assistance for dealership employees who have been affected by natural disasters through the Disaster Relief Program.

The foundation is the publicly supported 501(c)(3) charitable organization of the North American Equipment Dealers Association.
