Donna Lee Hanner entered eternal life on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Her spirit is carried on by her three children, eight grandchildren, and three precious great grandbabies, one sister in-law, and extended family of relatives and friends.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Donna during her 72 years. Two lessons took her a lifetime to truly understand. She said “It took me a lifetime, but finally I think I got it.”
Number 1
Do not try for perfection because it is not possible to achieve.
Number 2
Expectations: We cannot live our lives by trying to live with expectations from our families or loved ones. We have to live our OWN life and do the best we can for ourselves and not because someone else expects it from me. Be true to “thy” own life or own self.
Donna has been there for all. Her special memories have been stored, and they are her memories for eternity.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren (whose photos she would share every time you saw her): Delbert Hanner Jr., his children, Xylana and Colan and grandson, Hunter Joe Hanner; Tammy Mosqueda, her children, Coty (Tara), Jacob and Zachary and grandchildren, Grace and Reece; Elaine (James) May, their children, Joshua (Alyse), Nicci (Galen) Coulter-Ledbetter and Chelsea; sister in-law, Karan Fowler and her adopted family, Brenda, Todd, Katie and Sadie Woods; her most beloved friend, Nancy Smith; and many nieces and nephews, friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten.
Donna is reunited with her husband, Delbert; son, Rodney; and son in-law, Ron Mosqueda. She was preceded by her parents, Leslie and Orpha Fowler and three siblings.
