Everette King Jones, 38, of Osceola was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, 7:50 a.m. May 7.

Jones was arraigned and released from Clarke County Jail.

Laraine Stacy Lyons, 50, of Osceola was charged with second-degree theft 1:20 p.m. May 15. The original date of the offense is Aug. 14, 2014.

Lyons was being held in Clarke County Jail waiting for bond to be posted.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. April 1, Clarke County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault causing injury.

The report states Tabitha Lynnae Cottrell of Murray entered the property in Murray of a female individual and assaulted her. The female received facial injuries.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.

On April 29, Clarke County Sheriff’s Office recovered a 2008 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 ATV that was reported stolen in Clarke County on March 28, 2014.

According to the sheriff’s report, the stolen vehicle was released back to its owner Salvador Bermudez Leon of West Des Moines. The value of the ATV is $8,000.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.

On May 17, Morgan Michele Roan reported someone had stolen her purse from her van that was parked at the intersection of Elk Street and Highway 69. The items taken were an American State Bank debit card, cash, black and green cross, pink sweatshirt with “Iowa” on the front, social security card, pocket knife, Iowa driver’s license and a small hookah.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Roan reported she parked her vehicle and got into another vehicle to go to a party. She believes her car was unlocked because there was no sign of forced entry.

Loss estimate is $87.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.

On May 15, William Freeman was being held in Clarke County Jail and became upset. He kicked and broke a window in the jail cell door. The incident is reported as fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Damage estimate is $350.

William Douglas of Woodburn reported a red 2012 Harley Davidson street glide motorcycle had been stolen from his property between 8 a.m. April 30 and 7:23 p.m. May 16.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, the motorcycle was parked inside a shed. Douglas said he hadn’t seen the motorcycle for approximately two weeks. The motorcycle is registered to Scott Allen Mills, who is currently incarcerated in the Polk County Jail.

Douglas said he had co-signed the note for the motorcycle and had been making payments because of Mills being in jail.

Loss estimate is $20,000.

Hayley Nicole Heston, 23, of Woodburn was charged with violation of a no contact order 8 a.m. May 20. The original date of the offense is May 18.

Heston was arraigned on the charge but will be held in Clarke County Jail until the district court orders her back to House of Mercy.

Carlos Ajtun Gonzalez, 34, of Osceola was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, providing false identification information, driving while revoked and failure to provide insurance 1:49 a.m. May 21.

Gonzalez was arraigned and awaiting to be bonded out of Clarke County Jail.

Anna Lavonn Richards-Otto, 21, of Ottumwa was charged with probation violation 3:15 p.m. May 21. The original date of the offense is May 15.

Richards-Otto was being held in Clarke County Jail.
