Osceola blood drive planned

LifeServe Blood Center is encouraging the public to give an hour of their time to save the lives of three people in need this summer.

With vacations, holidays, special events and many other fun activities, many people find themselves busier than ever during the summer. That’s why the blood supply often dips to critically low levels through these months. With your help, we can beat the summer blood donation lull.

Help LifeServe Blood Center prevent a summer blood supply shortage – give a lifesaving donation at an upcoming blood drive.

Osceola Community Blood Drive is planned 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Lifepoint Assembly of God, 801 N. Fillmore St.

To schedule a blood donation appointment, go online to lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800-287-4903.

LifeServe Blood Center was established in April, 2010 when The Blood Center of Iowa joined operations with Siouxland Community Blood Bank.
