Ed Huenemann has taken over as the new director at The Village Early Childhood Center in Osceola.
Huenemann has 20 years of experience in the education field, both as a teacher and principal. A meet-and-greet time is planned at The Village 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.
Enrollment of children at the center has grown recently, so additional staff have also been newly employed.
The Village houses Clarke Community School District’s four-year-old preschool students, runs its own three-year-old preschool, as well as provides daycare from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
An outside spring clean-up time is scheduled for Saturday morning, April 18. Any interested community members are invited to come lend a hand beginning at 8:30 a.m. A light lunch will be served at noon. Contact the office at 641-342-1421 if you plan to attend.
