A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Marvin Todd Lawson.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Patrick Jay McFarland of New Virginia reported he hired Whitetail Construction on July 3 to building 30’x40’x12’ metal building. Lawson, owner of the construction business, took a check for $2,700 from the McFarlands as a down payment. However, the building was never built. Lawson can’t be reached because phone numbers have been disconnected and the website has been removed in reference to the company.

Loss estimate is $2,700.

Spencer William Foster, 19, of Allerton was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia 5:27 a.m. Dec. 12.

Foster was cited and given a court date at the scene. The charge is a simple misdemeanor.

Kimberly Ann Van Gundy of Osceola reported one of her tires had been slashed sometime between 10 p.m. Dec. 11 and 7 a.m. Dec. 12.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office. Damage estimate is $119.75.

Corey Scott Hites of Osceola reported his Vermeer wood chipper was taken from his residence in Clarke County between 5 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Dec. 16.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, when Hites left his house at 5 p.m., the chipper was sitting by the carport. When Hites returned at approximately 8:15 p.m., the chipper was gone.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office. Loss estimate is $9,000.

Tim Lau of Des Moines reported his silver 7x16 trailer, vin No. 53BLTEA24F, and 2012 John Deere Gator, vin No. M0550TBJCM015036, were taken from his property north of Murray between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Dec. 16. The Gator was inside the trailer.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office. Loss estimate is $17,000.

Nicole Elise Ruth of Osceola reported a 20-inch Sony flat screen television, check book with Great Western Bank, a closed account, Sony Cybershot picture camera, XBox 360 eight gig console and games, comforter, end table, blanket and various movies were taken from a structure in Murray between 2 p.m. Dec. 17 and 4:15 p.m. Dec. 20

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Ruth said the last time she was at the house was on Dec. 17.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.

Steven Craig Maxwell of Saint Charles reported his AEC bale stabber was taken from his property at 195th and Shore streets in Clarke County.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, the hay stabber was laying outside of Maxwell’s building.

The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office. Loss estimate is $380.
