Jeffrey Vern Murdock, 39, of Des Moines was charged with second-degree theft 10:15 a.m. Nov. 3.
Murdock was arraigned Nov. 3 and being held in Clarke County Jail until bond was posted.

Roger Lee Wood, 56, of Osceola was charged with public intoxication 9:05 p.m. Nov. 4.
Wood was arraigned Nov. 5.

Ronald Louis Reed of Osceola reported he had parked his white 1999 Ford Ranger pickup in a field north of Osceola Eagles approximately 9 a.m. Nov. 3.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, when Reed returned to get the pickup at approximately 1 p.m., it was gone. Reed said he didn’t give anyone permission to take the vehicle
The incident is under investigation by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office. Loss estimate is $4,000.

Derek Lee Palmertree, 30, of Osceola was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, 4:08 a.m. Nov. 8.
Palmertree was arraigned and released.

Russell Dean Lenocker of Dexter reported a 2013 Chevrolet 1500 pickup was taken 12:01 a.m. Nov. 8
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, the sheriff’s office received a call about a wrecked pickup in a barn in the northeast part of Clarke County. As a sheriff’s deputy was checking on the vehicle, it was discovered the vehicle was stolen out of Madison County.
The vehicle was towed to Clarke County Sheriff’s Office for Madison County to come and get it Nov. 10.
