Appreciation day for Farmers’ Market shoppers

Saturday, Sept. 20, was another appreciation day for customers at Osceola Farmers’ Market on the courthouse square with music provided by Tawny Waske.

The day began with light showers and cold breezes, but by mid morning, the sun began peeking out and the cold front moved on causing everyone to shed their jackets. It was a good market day and customers were still shopping when the noon whistle blew.

Congratulations to Deloris Hardy whose name was drawn for the free box of goodies donated by the 11 vendors present.

Osceola Farmers’ Market still convenes on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays from 3 – 6 p.m.

The last market day will be Saturday, Oct. 18. Then, on Nov. 8 and Nov. 22, there will be inside market at Osceola Senior Center on the west side of the square.
