Fry receives Farm Bureau endorsement

Iowa Farm Bureau’s PAC recently designated Rep. Joel Fry, R-Osceola, as a “Friend of Agriculture.”

Iowa Farm Bureau’s grassroots effort to designate Friends of Agriculture is guided by members in each county and beings in July as these Iowans evaluate candidates. They consider questionnaires, positions on issues, leadership on Farm Bureau priorities and past voting records.

“It’s an honor to have the support of the Farm Bureau,” Fry said. “I will continue listening to Iowans and craft policies that make it easier for future generations to carry on the rich farming traditions in our state.”

Fry was first elected to the House in 2010 and serves as an Assistant Majority Leader.  He and his wife Heather are small business owners in rural Clarke County.
