UnityPoint at Home grand opening

UnityPoint at Home will be holding a grand opening on Friday, Aug. 15, for its newest branch in Osceola. Offices are located at 105 E. McLane St., Suite 100, on the northeast side of the “four corners” (intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 69). A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m., followed by an open house.

“We are pleased and excited to offer our services to the community. Whether you are learning to manage a chronic disease, transitioning home from the hospital, or rehabilitating after an injury or surgery, UnityPoint at Home will allow you to continue the level of care necessary to help restore health, all from your home,” said Cindy Kail, clinical manager for UnityPoint at Home, Osceola.

UnityPoint at Home is one of the region’s largest home health services providers with locations throughout Iowa and Illinois, and has been ranked nationally for quality of service and care. Comprehensive services include adult and pediatric home care, hospice, infusion, telemonitoring and home medical equipment.

“As part of the UnityPoint Health system, we offer an integrated approach that ensures our patients receive consistent care and resources,” said Todd Richard, vice president of operations for UnityPoint at Home. “Osceola is already home to Clarke County Hospital, a community network hospital affiliate of UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, and UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine – Clarke County. The addition of UnityPoint at Home in the community means that we can seamlessly coordinate care between hospital, clinic and home.”

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, an open house will take place. This event is open to the public and refreshments will be provided. Attendees can tour the new offices and meet the nurses and staff. For more information about UnityPoint at Home, call 641-342-3109.
