Clarke County Public Health plans community baby shower for public health week
For the first time in decades, the current generation isn’t as healthy as the one that came before. Communities need to band together against his disturbing trend to make sure that children and young adults have bright, healthy futures.
Public Health helps communities identify the resources and information available to keep everyone healthy and safe.
To celebrate the National Public Health Week April 7 – 11, Clarke County Public Health is asking Clarke County to participate in a community baby shower to supply the food pantry with needed baby diapers, wipes, formula and baby food.
Donations can be dropped off at the Clarke County Public Health office at 134 W. Jefferson St. in Osceola or at the Osceola Community Center. Also, an immunization clinic for children and adults will be held at the public health office on Wednesday, April 9, by appointment.
