MURRAY — Hunt and Associates, P.C., certified public accountants, have released an audit report on Murray Community School District.
The district’s revenues totaled $4,224,554 for the year ended June 30, 2013, a 1.3 percent increase from the prior year.
Revenues included $1,088,550 in local tax, charges for services of $939,178, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $740,041, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $75,975, unrestricted interest of $4,888 and other general revenues of $1,375,922.
Expenses for district operations totaled $3,814,366, a 4.5 percent increase from the prior year.
Expenses included $2,209,662 for instructional services, $502,505 for administration services and $247,001 for operation and maintenance of plant services.
