CD Tourney

LEON — Central Decatur finished with two runners-up in placing sixth with 110.5 points at its home tournament here Friday.

Creston/O-M won the team title with 292 points and three champions, besting Albia’s five champions with 206 points.

Wyman Reed finished runner-up at 152 pounds to Creston/O-M’s Gavin Leith, while Trenton Wells placed second at 182 pounds, losing a 4-3 decision to Creston/O-M’s Trevor Frain.

Ogden Duals

OGDEN — Clarke placed ninth out of 10 teams at the Ogden Dual Tournament here on Saturday.

The Indians defeated Woodward-Granger 48-36 in the ninth-place match.

Junior Morales (138), Gable Reece (160), Jacob Bair (170) and Jake Burk (220) all pinned their opponents against Woodward-Granger to secure the win.

Bair earned his 100th career victory on Dec. 7 at the Coach Riley Invitational in Greenfield.
