Denny Clifton, 63, of Albany, Mo., died Dec. 10, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Albany First Baptist Church. Burial with military rites was in Grandview Cemetery in Albany, Mo. Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, Mo., was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to Albany First Baptist Church building fund in care of Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Denny Clifton, son of Augusta (Voelschow) and Willis E. Clifton, was born June 8, 1950, in Osceola.
Denny was a Vietnam Army veteran.
On Oct. 30, 1971, Denny married Linda Coffey.
Denny was a store director for several Hy-Vee Food Stores before his retirement.
Denny was a member of Albany First Baptist Church, Albany American Legion Post No. 106, and a past member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.
Denny is survived by his wife Linda of Albany, Mo.; sons, Marty (Sunny) Clifton of Iowa City and Matthew (Maisie) Clifton of Ankeny; daughter Mandi (Scott) Seetin of Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Mason and Maclin Clifton, Grant and Tate Clifton and Bennett Seetin; mother-in-law Kathryn Renoe of Garden Grove; sisters-in-law, Caroleen Clifton of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Ivy Coffey of Russell; brothers-in-law, Hank Graham of Loveland, Colo., Jake (Mary) Coffey of Weldon and Randy Coffey of Garden Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Donna Graham, Dorothy Craig and Nancy Vickers; brother Dally Clifton and brother-in-law Jack Coffey.
