Results for chili cook-off competition

These are the results from the first-ever chili cook-off competition during Holiday Brilliance, which was hosted by Osceola Chamber/Main Street.

“We posted the winner on Facebook, but we wanted to let everyone know how well everyone did,” said Derek Lumsden, executive director of Osceola Chamber/Main Street. “It was a close race for our 10 cookers.”

These are the results in order:

1. Homestead Assisted Living

2. Victoria Millen (chili at Robinson’s True Value)

3. Tied for third was Flowers N More and Clarke County State Bank

4. Tied for fourth was White’s Woodworking and Chat Mobility

5. Tied for fifth was H&R Block and Clarke County Chiropractic

6. Tied for sixth was Family Eye Care and Clarke County Hospital

“The votes were very close and had to be counted a number of times to make sure that everyone got the same vote count,” Lumsden said. “Thank you to all of you for taking part this year and we hope to see you back again next year.”
