Mike Lucero – Osceola

Mike Lucero, 67, of Osceola died Sept. 29, 2013, at Southern Hills Specialty Care.

Mike was cremated, and his cremains will be buried with the cremains of his wife Linda on a family gravesite in La Madera, N.M. Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Osceola, was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.kalefuneralhome.com.

Mike Lucero, son of Laura Tena and Tony Lucero, was born July 18, 1946, in La Madera, N.M.

Mike grew up in New Mexico and later moved to Colorado. He worked many years for Rio Grande Railroad.

Mike moved to Osceola and married Linda Kay Blackburn.

Mike worked for Clarke Community Schools and Clarke County Hospital.

Mike is survived by his sister Anita Esquibel of New Castle, Colo.; brother Felix Lucero of Moffat, Colo.; father- and mother-in-law, Richard and Cora Blackburn of Osceola; stepdaughter Jamie Marco of Indianola, other relatives and many friends

Mike was preceded in death were his parents and wife.
