No citations were issued after an accident 2:30 a.m. Sept. 30 at 2650 Highway 69.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Frank Kevin Thompson, 21, of Leon, driving a 2004 GMC south on Highway 69, swerved to miss hitting a possum. The vehicle struck a west side guardrail of a bridge.
Damage estimate is $7,000 to the vehicle owned by Helen Fae Nernes.

No citations were issued after an accident 1:45 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 1400 block of 195th Avenue.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Randy Lee Gray, 58, of St. Charles, driving a 1971 Chevrolet pickup north on 195th Avenue, swerved to miss hitting a deer. Gray lost control of his vehicle because of loose gravel. The vehicle entered the east ditch and struck trees.
Gray was transported to Clarke County Hospital. Damage estimate is $5,000.
