Branstad, Reynolds to visit Miller Products

Miller Products will host Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds for an event as part of Manufacturing Week Tuesday, Oct 1.

Manufacturing Week is an effort to draw greater attention to some of Iowa’s outstanding employers and the excellent opportunities a career in manufacturing can provide.

The Branstad administration will learn about the company history, tour the facility and hear from company officials on the benefits and challenges of doing business in Iowa.

Miller Products employs 45 people in Osceola, which is also the home of Reynolds. The company started out as a bicycle dealer and manufacturer of kick stands, and has evolved into a supplier of quality manufactured products to a growing diverse customer base.

Miller Products has been a member of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) for 50 of the Association’s 110-year history. ABI is the state’s oldest and largest business association and has more than 1,400 member companies in all of Iowa’s 99 counties and represent employers on key issues impacting the ability to grow and keep jobs in Iowa.
