Live Healthy Iowa meeting scheduled
“I am excited that Clarke County has been selected by Live Healthy Iowa to initiate a community-wide wellness coalition,” said Marcia Blain, RN from Clarke County Public Health.
A meeting has been scheduled 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Clarke County Courthouse.
John Stevens, outreach coordinator for Live Healthy Iowa will be present to assist community members who are interested in creating a community coalition. Stevens has spent 34 years as an Iowa educator, and is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Iowans.
Ideas and enthusiasm are needed from all individuals to be part of the Healthy Clarke County Coalition, whether you are interested in more recreational activities, worksite wellness or tools to improve the health of you or your family.
