Carlon, Davis hold wedding in Shelby

Dan and Ronda Harrison of Chariton announce the engagement of their daughter Rachelle Carlon to Jeremy Davis, son of Jeff and Vicki Davis of Hinesville, Ga., formerly of Osceola.

Carlon is the granddaughter of Orval and Neva Lee McDowell of Osceola.

Carlon attended Clarke Community High School and graduated from Durham High School in California. She graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. She is currently employed as a microbiologist for Texas Vet Lab in San Angelo, Texas.

Davis graduated from Clarke Community High School. He is currently a staff sergeant at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. He has an associate’s degree in criminal justice and is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in communications.

The wedding was held Sept. 7 at the Willow Creek Glass Chapel in Shelby.
