Darren Jeter of Osceola reported a dark, grey Craftsman riding lawn mower, red push lawn mower, red wheel barrow and a corn knife were taken from a shed at his residence between Aug. 5 and 12.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Jeter was out of town, and when he came home, he noticed tracks around his yard. His shed door was open and items were missing from inside it. The incident is being investigated by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.
Loss estimate is $985.

Samuel Eugene Barnes Jr., 40, of Leon was charged on a Clarke County warrant for possession of a controlled substance 11:35 p.m. Aug. 9.
As of Aug. 13, Barnes is being held in Clarke County Jail.
