Oaks, Taylor to wed in Fort Dodge

Jim and Kim Oaks of Murray announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their son Shawn Oaks to Emily Taylor, daughter of Tim and Tammy Taylor of Fort Dodge.

Taylor graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 2009 and will be graduating this summer from La’James International of Fort Dodge where she is studying message therapy.

Oaks graduated from Murray High School in 2008, Iowa Central Community College in 2010 and William Penn University in 2011. He majored in engineering design and industrial technology. Oaks is a mechanical drafter for Almaco in Nevada.

The couple is planning a Sept. 14 wedding in Fort Dodge.
