Kristine L. Sarver, 56, of Nemaha, Neb., was cited for unsafe passing after an accident 9:05 a.m. June 27 at the intersection of Highway 34 and 270th Avenue.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Vincent Donald Kelly, 76, of Keosauqua, driving a 2008 Chevrolet owned by Denco Highway Construction Corp. east on Highway 34, had his turn signal on in an attempt to turn left on 270th Avenue.
Sarver, driving a 1999 Honda, attempted to pass Kelly’s vehicle and struck it while he was attempting to turn.
Damage estimate is $3,000 to both vehicles.
