No citations were issued after an accident 8 p.m. June 20 at Highway 34 and College Avenue.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Jeffrey Allen Burger, 48, of Afton, driving a 2002 Chevrolet east on Highway 34 in the city limits of Osceola, came near a pickup pulling a trailer traveling west on Highway 34. A mattress and box springs flew out of the trailer and struck Burger's vehicle. The pickup pulled over briefly, but continued west on Highway 34 before being identified.

Damage estimate is $3,000.

Michael Albert Porter, 62, of Woodburn was cited for failure to have a valid driver's license after an accident 3 p.m. June 18 at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Liberty Highway.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Bonnell Marie Hanrahan, 79, of Osceola was driving a 2008 Saturn south on Liberty Highway and Porter was driving a 2007 Mercury east on Pacific Avenue. Porter traveled too far onto Liberty Highway and Hanrahan was unable to avoid striking his vehicle.

Damage estimates are $5,000 to Hanrahan's vehicle and $4,000 to Porter's vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 11:30 a.m. June 15 in the 500 block of West McLane Street.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Mauricio Aguilera, 27, of Osceola, driving a 2000 Honda east on West McLane Street, stopped for a funeral procession. Allan Roy Mathias, 59, of Woodburn, driving a 1993 Dodge pickup east on West McLane Street, didn't stop for the funeral procession and struck the back of Aguilera's vehicle.

Damage estimates are $4,000 to Aguilera's vehicle and $2,000 to Mathias' vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 5 p.m. June 16 at 1677 Kendall Street.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Calli Marie Hightshoe, 18, of Osceola, driving a 1994 Chevrolet west on Kendall Street, lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle slid into the north ditch and rolled several times.

Hightshoe was transported to Clarke County Hospital. Damage estimate is $4,000 to the vehicle owned by Brian M. Braumbaugh Jr.

No citations were issued after an accident 5:45 a.m. June 13 on Highway 69 near mile-marker 48.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff's report, Mary Kathleen Nichols, 43, of Indianola, was driving a 2004 Ford south on Highway 69. The vehicle's passenger tires went onto the shoulder of the road and into ruts and loose gravel. Nichols attempted to correct the vehicle and lost control. The vehicle entered a ditch and landed on its side in a field.

Nichols was transported to Clarke County Hospital. Damage estimate is $8,000.
