No citations were issued after an accident 10 p.m. May 29 at 3085 Scott St.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Timothy Fernando Manriques, 32, of Indianola, driving a 1999 Ford north on Scott Street, attempted to make the curve in the road.
Manriques said he was driving too fast to make the curve. The vehicle entered the north ditch, rolled over onto its side, rolled again across a fence and came to a rest on its passenger side.
During an investigation, officials learned the curve’s warning side had been knocked down sometime prior to the accident. The county’ engineer’s office was notified. Damage estimate is $3,000.

No citations were issued after an accident 8:30 p.m. May 11 in the 2600 block of Highway 69.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Nicholas Michael Werner, 22, of Osceola, driving a 1999 GME south on Highway 69, struck a deer on a bridge.
Damage estimate is $3,000.
