The piano students of Rachel McCoy gave two recitals on Saturday, May 11.
Students performed for residents at the Southern Hills Specialty Care facility, followed by a recital for families and friends at LifePoint Assembly of God.
After the recital, students received awards for scales and performance. The highest awards for scales went to Yuliya Panasyuk, Kylie Shields and Amy Jelsma. All three students learned all 12 major and 12 minor scales in varying difficulties this year.
First-time performers at the spring recital were Astazia Watson and Jacob Fuller.
