Published: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 2:11 p.m. CDT

Does my emergency response plan include ethanol? Am I confident in my knowledge concerning ethanol safety standards? Can I treat ethanol like regular gasoline? What should I do in an ethanol emergency? Why is ethanol safety important?

If you have questions, there are answers.

An ethanol safety seminar is planned 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. both Wednesday, June 19, and Thursday, June 20, at 122 E. Ayers St., in Osceola.

Emergency responders, fire departments, EMTs, local emergency planning committees, police departments and safety managers are encouraged to attend.
