Eric Glen Wallace, 29, of Creston, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated 4:26 a.m. May 5.
Wallace was released on bond.
Dennis Orfido Chavez of Osceola reported a white leather couch, woodburning stove and garden hose were taken from his rental property at 2154 Ivy St. in Clarke County between May 1 and 8.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, there appeared to be no force used to enter the property and Chavez isn’t sure if the doors were locked or not.
An Acer Window XP home computer with serial number 5001373 was reportedly taken and a door jamb was damaged when a door was kicked in at Clarke County Conservation Office at East Lake Park between May 4 and 7.
Loss and damage estimate is $673. Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
Dale Eugene Barton of Osceola reported him and his wife were sitting at their kitchen table noon May 5 when they heard something enter the living room’s outside wall.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, it appeared a .22-caliber round hit the house on the south side of the residence and passed through a wall and picture frame.
A canvas of the neighborhood didn’t reveal anyone who had been shooting guns south of the Barton residence.
Damage estimate is $600. Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
Charles Vincent Giesken, 41, of Chariton was charged with probation violation May 2.
On May 2, Giesken was released to Marion County.
