Barnards celebrate 60 years

An open house is planned in honor of the 60th wedding anniversary of Eldon and Marian Barnard of New Virginia. The couple was married May 31, 1953, in Osceola.

The event is planned 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at The Meeting Place, 1003 N. Main St., in Osceola.

The couple request no gifts.
