Jon Dulinsky age 60, of Osceola, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
Born on February 28,1953 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Richard L. and Anna Marie (Peters) Dulinsky, Jon was the youngest of three children. He grew up in Blackwell and Ponca City, Oklahoma and attended Ponca City schools.
He joined the US Army and served in the Viet Nam War. After honorary discharge Jon worked a variety of jobs and found his passion as a welder. Even though he was no longer able to work he enjoyed welding volumetric cement truck boxes for his most recent employer Cementech of Indianola, Iowa. He met the love of his life, Sally
Hall, while working in Osceola and they were married June 8,1980.
Jon was a very caring and honest man who was no stranger to a good time and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved cruising around in his fire red mustang with his tunes cranked and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
His mother and brother Richard L. Dulinsky Jr. precede him in death.
He is survived by his wife Sally; son Jason (Kristin) Dulinsky of Iron Mountain, Michigan; daughter, Sarah Dulinsky, of Osceola; grandchildren, Natalie, Tristin and
Aubrey Dulinsky of Iron Mountain; father, sister, Rickey Engle, and aunt, Josephine Wear, of Ponca City; sister-in-law Sandy (Don) Logemann of Osceola; family friend
Tyler Patterson, of Osceola; and many nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes Jon was cremated and a memorial will be held Friday May 3, 2013 at 5 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. There will be a light meal served afterwards.
