Area athletes headed to SWCC for sports shooting

CRESTON — Two area athletes have committed to being members of Southwestern Community College’s (SWCC) new sports shooting team. Austin Taylor of Osceola and Katie Fuller of Murray will be SWCC Spartans starting this fall.

Taylor, a senior at Clarke High School, plans to attend SWCC as an arts and science (college transfer) student with a major in criminal justice. His goal is to become a police officer. He is currently a senior at Clarke High School. Taylor’s parents are Tim and Shelly Burdess of Osceola.

Fuller is a senior at Murray High School. At SWCC, she will be an arts and science transfer student majoring in animal science. Upon graduation from SWCC, she plans to transfer to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo. Fuller is the daughter of Bobbie and Brian Fuller.
