Frances Fouche Osceola

Helen Frances Fouche, 86, of Osceola died Feb. 21, 2013, at Darrell Nerness Guest Home.

Services were 10 a.m. today, Feb. 28, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St. The Rev. Cass Young officiated. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to HCI Care Services in Osceola. Online condolences may be left at www.kalefuneralhome.com.

Helen Frances Fouche, daughter of Grace Edna (Fletcher) and Clinton Chester Sanders, was born April 8, 1926, in Osceola.

A lifetime resident of Osceola, Frances received her education at Osceola High School.

On June 6, 1944, Frances married Robert Marion Fouche in Des Moines.

Through the years, Frances worked at J.C. Penney’s and Miller Shoe stores in Osceola.

Frances was a Girl Scout leader in earlier years.

Frances is survived by her son, Gary (Merrie) Fouche of Indianola; daughter Patricia (Richard) Ellis of Osceola; grandchildren, Kelly (Polli) Critz of Orient, Tonya Hauser of Eldora and Jennifer Hermanson of Waukee; brothers, Paul (Wilene) Sanders of Osceola; brother-in-law Ronald (Shirley) Fouche of Osceola; many nieces, nephews other relatives, friends and special extended family at the Nerness Home.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1981; sister Edna Grace Barr; and brothers, Albert, Alfred “Pete,” Calvern, Forest “Shorty” and Harold Sanders.
