Dorsey Eugene Derrick, 78, of Creston, formerly of Weldon, died Feb. 10, 2013, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Crest Baptist Church in Creston. The Rev. Chuck Spindler and Dr. Brian Kaylor will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola. Open visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service Friday at the church. Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, Creston, is in charge of arrangements.
