Marvin “Frank” Burdess, 72, of Osceola, died Feb. 9, 2013, at Clarke County Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Church of Christ in Murray. The Rev. Brian McCracken will officiate. Burial will be in Murray Cemetery. Open visitation with family present will be 9 to 10 a.m. service time Saturday at the church. Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, Creston, is in charge of arrangements. Marvin Franklin Burdess, son of Lillie Fern (Grove) and Albert Robert Burdess, was born Sept. 18, 1940, in Woodburn.
