Lillie Myers Osceola

Lillie Myers, 94, of Osceola died Jan. 29, 2013.

Services were 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St. The Rev. Cass Young officiated. Interment of cremains will be in Hartman Cemetery, Truro, at a later date. Memorials may be directed to HCI Care Services of Osceola.

Lillie Aderien (Goodrich) Myers, daughter of Zilpha (Stubbs) and Ray Goodrich, was born Oct. 30, 1918, in Clarke County.

Lillie received her schooling in Wayne and Madison counties.

On Dec. 7, 1935, Lillie married Gerald Myers. They lived all of their married life in Madison County.

Lillie was affiliated with the Christian Church since early childhood.

Lillie is survived by her son LeRoy (Dee) Myers of Truro; daughter Carol (Phil) Clarke of Osceola; sisters, Pat (Gene) Carson of Osceola and Ramona “Mickey” Oberg of Marshfield, Wis.; brothers, Bob (Judy) Goodrich and James (Donna) Goodrich, all of Wellman; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Rex Dean Myers; daughters, Janice Irene Hurd and Betty Marlene Willcox; sisters, Eva Green, Rose Northway, Enid Honnold and Rebecca Hatfield; and brothers, Walter Harry Goodrich, Ivan Goodrich and Ray Andrew Goodrich Jr.
