Twin Cedars 43, Murray 42

MURRAY — After entering the fourth quarter all tied up, Murray dropped a close, 43-42, game to Twin Cedars here on Jan. 17 in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament semifinals.

Deena Snyder led the Mustangs with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Kate Patton scored 10 points. Courtney Siefkas added eight points and Megan Oswald scored seven points with eight rebounds. Madison Gonseth added five points.

Murray 50, Melcher-Dallas 25

MURRAY — The Murray Mustangs bounced back to win the consolation game 50-25 over Melcher-Dallas to finish third in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament.

Kate Patton scored 12 points with 14 steals to lead the Mustangs. Courtney Siefkas added 10 points and five steals. Megan Oswald added nine points with a team-high eight rebounds.

Ashley Rider scored six points, while Madison Gonseth and Deena Snyder each scored four points.

Central Decatur 45, Nodaway Valley 30

GREENFIELD — Central Decatur broke open a close game in the fourth quarter, beating Nodaway Valley 45-30 here on Jan. 18.

Hallie Linhart scored a team-high 15 points with 11 rebounds and seven steals while Sadie Greene added 12 points and eight rebounds with five assists. Desi Gentry added five points, while Kate Havens scored four points.

Emily Savely and Kim Yoder each scored three points in the win.

Chariton 64, Central Decatur 61

LEON — Chariton came back in the fourth quarter to force overtime, and then outscored Central Decatur 7-4 in the extra period to win 64-61 here on Monday.

Hallie Linhart scored 21 points with nine rebounds in leading the Cardinals, and Sadie Greene scored 16 points with 12 rebounds and eight assists. Lydia Martin added eight points and Cait Saxton scored five points.

Brittany Binning scored four points with six steals and Mary Akers and Kate Havens each scored three points.

Central Decatur 45, SE Warren 36

LEON — Sadie Greene scored 16 points to lead Central Decatur in a 45-36 win over Southeast Warren here on Tuesday.

Greene also pulled down nine rebounds with three assists and two blocks. Hallie Linhart scored 12 points with 13 rebounds. Desi Gentry scored eight points while Brittany Binning and Cait Saxton each added four points.
