Nodaway Valley 75, Central Decatur 29

GREENFIELD — Nodaway Valley pulled away early in a 75-29 win over Central Decatur here on Jan. 18.

Bryson Durrow scored nine points to lead the Cardinals, while Noah Simon and Ethan Hanna each added seven points. Aaron Linhart scored four points, while Nick Durell added two points and a team-high four rebounds.

Central Decatur 63, SE Warren 39

LEON — A balanced scoring effort helped Central Decatur jump out to a big lead during a 63-39 win over Southeast Warren here on Tuesday.

Peyton Pedersen and Aaron Linhart each scored 12 points to lead the Cardinals, while Nick Durell added 11 points and Bryson Durrow scored 10 points. Durell added eight rebounds, while Trevor Greenland scored seven points with seven rebounds.

Ethan Hanna scored six points and Noah Simon added five.

Murray 89, Diagonal 35

MURRAY — Murray stepped up its defensive intensity in an 89-35 win over Diagonal here on Jan. 18 in the Bluegrass Conference semifinals.

Murray led 30-4 after the first quarter.

Austin Halls scored 27 points with 13 assists and six steals while Cody Scroggie added 24 points with three assists and three steals. Pat Kilmer added 15 points off the bench.

Sam Rockhold scored eight points with nine rebounds and Matt Johnston added seven points and seven rebounds.

Lamoni 62, Murray 50

MURRAY — Lamoni pulled away in the fourth quarter to win the Bluegrass Conference Tournament with a 62-50 win over Murray here on Jan. 19.

Austin Halls scored 18 points and Cody Scroggie added 16. Sam Rockhold scored 10 points with eight rebounds. Matt Johnston scored four points and Andrew Rider added two points.

Murray shot just 3-of-25 from behind the 3-point arc in the loss.
