Daryl Becker Liberty Center

Daryl Becker, 79, of Liberty Center died Dec. 16, 2012, in Des Moines.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will be in Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Liberty Center United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be left at www.overtonfunerals.com.

Daryl graduated from Ackley High School.

On Sept. 14, 1955, Daryl married Marian Ruth DeBoer in Ackley.

The family moved to southern Warren County from Parkersburg in 1980.

Daryl farmed and worked as a custodian for Indianola Community School District.

Daryl is survived by his sons, Michael (Patti), David (Joan), Jeffrey, John (Nancy) and Daran (Stephanie); grandchildren, Josh, Matt and Luke Becker, Ryan and Darin Cron and Brad, Mark, Scott, Cole, Justin, Aspen, Nate, Kaden, Sierra, Devin and Selia Becker; great-grandchild Michaela Marie Becker; brothers-in-law, Ron (Max) DeBoer and Jerry (Ruth) DeBoer; and sister-in-law Sheryl (Bill) Hansen.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
