Drive safely, especially around school buses

Yes, I saw you this morning. You made a serious mistake driving. There was a school bus stopped with the stop arm out blinking and the red lights were blinking.

There were children getting on the bus.

But, you didn’t stop. You were talking on a cell or doing something.

Do you remember that sometimes children do the unexpected things?

Like run after a piece of paper, see a friend across the street, or for some unknown reason, run across the street.

Oh, you say never — well, it happened one morning earlier this fall.

But, you were there. Thank goodness.

Remember this child is loved, and maybe you don’t care.
