Andrew “Andy” Burtsel Cook, 51, of Des Moines, formerly of Osceola, died Oct. 20, 2012, at his home in Des Moines.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at First Christian Church in Osceola. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola. Hamilton Funeral Home, Des Moines, is in charge of arrangements.
Andrew “Andy” Burtsel Cook was born March 15, 1961, in Osceola.
Andy lived the past 14 years in Des Moines.
Andy is survived by his brothers and sisters, Mildred (husband Everett) Whitehead of Cocoa, Fla., Norman (wife Karalee) Cook of Osceola, Lucille (husband Bill) Sargent of Indianola, Karen York of Cocoa, Fla., Dan Cook of Van Wert and John (wife Amy) Cook of Council Bluffs; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Monica and Burtsel Cook and brother David Cook.
