Harold Deemer, 91, of Osceola, formerly of Kellerton, died Oct. 15, 2012, at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Joyce Smith officiated. Burial with military rites afforded by Kellerton American Legion No. 676 was in Maple Row Cemetery in Kellerton. A memorial fund has been established to HCI Care Services.

Harold Deemer, son of Emily Pierce and William Deemer, was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Decatur County.
