CRESTON — The Central Decatur boys finished second in Class B here on Sept. 18, finishing behind Earlham 33-52.

Neshamah Breshears won the Class B individual crown with a time of 18:24. Matt Marvin placed sixth overall in 19:06. Sergio Cardenas, Alex Foltz and Andrew Canncst also counted in the team score for the Cardinals.

The Central Decatur girls finished fourth as a team in Class B with 96 points. Trista Waddell was the top Cardinal finisher in 18th place with a time of 20:26.

The Clarke girls finished seventh in Class A action, scoring 167 points.

Kylar McCann led the Lady Indians with a 14th-place finish in 18:08. Also counting toward the team score were Tiffany McKnight, Tracy Morgan, Mayela Vega and Elly Watkins.

The Clarke boys finished eighth with 213 points.

Chasen Selsor led the team with 23rd place finish in 19:04. Jake Manternach finished 41st in 20:09. Also contributing to the team score were Mason Simmons, Christian Andrade and Jared Jamison.
