Twyla Eddy – Oskaloosa

Twyla Fern Eddy, 85, of Oskaloosa, died Aug. 5, 2010, at her home.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St. Memorials may be directed to Osceola First Christian Church, Osceola Public Library or Mahaska Hospice of Oskaloosa. Memorials may be given directly or through Kale Funeral Home.

Twyla Fern Eddy, daughter of Vera Lantz (Johnson) and Samuel Clyde, was born Dec. 15, 1924, at home in Decatur County.

Twyla attended Leslie School and graduated from Osceola High School in 1941. She went on to graduate from Osceola Junior College and taught for one year at a rural school.

On May 15, 1943, Twyla married Olin Everette Eddy in Bethany, Mo. 

Twyla and Olin spent their married life farming in Clarke County.
